bout' time dang it!

alrighty! I woke up this morning to a blissfully cool day :D it's a wonderful 64 degrees out right now, which for not quite 10 am is absoulutley perfect!! And I have to say, my dogs are enjoying the change quite a bit too LOL It's truely amazing how much more energy you have when it's not 100 and over outside. Plus, there are supposed to be Thunderstorms in the next few days, which is AWESOME. Tim will be super happy about that, cause he LOVES thunderstorms. Just about one of his favorite things besides airplanes that is ;) Hopefully they won't cause any or too many fires, it being as dry as it is. I'll have to keep that in my prayers cause I love thunderstorms but don't want anyone getting hurt either ya know?

So, i'm off to work here in a bit. Not looking forward to that at all I must say. I think i'm just getting burnt out. I've been working there for almost three years now and nothing much has changed. I"m hoping to find the courage and the words to talk to my manager about maybe moving up in the company...perhaps a night manager position since we currently don't have one. But, I"m a chicken and am working up to it :D

work, work, work...

Got home from work about 1/2 hour ago...around 10:00 ish. LONG day today and it'll be an even longer one tomorrow. Today was just really busy, and HOT, but tomorrow will be really long (10 am - 9:30 pm) and HOT oh and busy too. So, yeah, not looking forward to it. But at least i'm getting paid...gotta be grateful for the fact that I have a job when so many other people out their don't.

So, yeah needless to say, I"m heading to bed here pretty soon cause i have to get up early to get to work on time tomorrw. Just trying to relax and chill for a bit though first. Been playing some crazy addictive games on Facebook( Vampire Wars, Farm Town, FarmVille etc.) and just finished eating some yummy jello with whipped cream :D So, it's been a good start to relaxing I think LOL Good night all!!

in a funk

I had a really good day today, hanging out with Tim enjoying our day off...but for some reason I am just in a really meloncholy mood right now. You know, one of those moods where you just feel like crying..but you don't really have a reason to or really know why. It sucks, I have to say..I hate it when I get like this. Especially when I have had a good day, there just doesn't seem to be any reason to feel like this. Well, ok, I know why I feel like this, I'm feeling sorry and sad for myself again...for reasons I"d prefer not to go into detail about online, but suffice it to say that it's dumb, and i know it's dumb but I just can't help feeling like I do. I hope Tim get's home from his mom's soon. I just wanna curl up with him and make it all go away...no worries, no problems, no sadness....just me and him.

The great chair hunt has ended...

So, Tim has been wanting a "man" chair for over a year now, and since he is getting some extra money from work soon we have spent this weekend looking for the perfect chair. It had to match our house and it had to fit in our living room. Matching our house was easy, we have a mulitude of colors that would work, fitting in the living room however...not so easy. B/c we have a sunken living room we have pretty limited space and furniture arrangement options. But, wonder of wonders, we FINALLY found a great chair at the furniture warehouse in Gresham. It fits Tim really well, and is actually a little smaller then we were looking for so it will leave us some extra space to manuever things. Yay! I'm glad that is done with. It was fun looking for chairs, but i'll be glad when we go pick it up and get it in place. Oh, and i found the greatest freaking massage chair ever at the warehouse! I won't buy it but man..so nice. I just sat there and enjoyed it while Tim took care of buying the chair and all those little things. I did NOT want to leave..that dang chair sure felt good. LOl Anyway, now we are home and just relaxing. It's over 100 again today so that is the only smart thing to do. I'll make sure and post a picture of the chair when we get it. It's really very nice :D

Yay!

I got a new book! Which, is prob one of the most exciting things for me lol cause you know..i'm a nerd. Like a big one. Seriously, I'm a very big nerd. But it's ok, cause Tim loves me anyway. Even when i get a new book and then ignore him till it's done, which is a good thing..cause i do that fairly often. Thankfully for him i read really fast ;) Now i'm off to start in on that wonderful new book...and maybe get some food...not necessarily in that order.

Freaking HOT!!!!

OMG, so me and Tim went to his mom's to take pictures of her spinning wheel she is trying to sell and i'm pretty sure I almost roasted to death! Alright, so i might be over dramatizing a little but still...it's really, really hot outside. On the plus side, we did go to the nice air condintioned Safeway (so nice in there) and got a bunch of cute little mini ice creams, some jello and whipped cream and dog cookies for our two lovely creatures. There are my babies below ...

Love those dogs! Don't know what I'd do without them :D Anyway, we also go to stop at Dutch Bros and get coffee..and that was a HUGE plus! MMM...dutch freeze... and now i'm home, enjoying the wonderful air conditioning and watching Tim vacuum the house. Good times all around. ;)

Starting over...blog wise :D

Alrighty..so i'm not good at this whole blogging thing. Just a warning. I had a previous blog...about my job working at Starbucks, but I think I did two whole entries cause then I got bored and stopped writing! LOL So, this time around I figure I'll just write like it's my diary..or journal or whatever you want to call it, instead of actually having a REASON for doing it. Place to vent my thoughts, kill time, whatever. And if any of you feel like reading it all the better :D So, lets just call this a new beginning...and wipe the slate clean.

Wow...can I just say it's been really HOT around here! It's only like 10:25 am and it's already pretty darn hot outside. Freaking woke up at 8 am this morning...on my day off!...cause it was too stinking hot! Grr...eh..at least I'll have a long day off this way. LOL Always gotta see the bright side i guess. I'm looking forward to buying some flowers today. I don't have near enough flowers in my back yard...i have plants but they don't have any summer time flowers on them. Which is just plain sad.Plus, no flowers means there is not a lot of bees around to pollinate my veggies and we can't have that. I'm looking forward to some home grown zucchinni, cucumbers, jalapanos, acorn squash and bell peppers! So, definatly need some flowers..now to convince Tim to buy me lots...I think i'm up for the challenge :D

Not sure what else we'll do today...but i'm sure it'll be fun! Days off with my Tiger are always a blast. I sure love that man...even more now then I did the day I married him. Guess that's a good thing huh? That's us up above ^^^^ we look so good together! :D LOL Well, off to garden and shop!
